“They’re not representative”
August 16th, 2009That’s how Arlen Specter described his own constituents after a series of town halls recently. That’s also why he’s about to be unemployed. That old fart should’ve retired years ago and if he wasn’t living with the perks of the governing class, he would have.
He was never the sharpest knife in the drawer and now he’s deep into dementia. If anybody ever loved him, they would pull him back now. But living the life of a back-stabbing whore has consequences. The main one is that you have no one to look out for you because you trained your kids and grand-kids (not to mention your staff) – by your example – to be ruthless, heartless and totally devoid of anything that resembles principle.
I’m looking forward to the funeral of that idiot. I’ve never really liked him and he’s a “representative” (to coin a phrase), of ALL of Congress. I would be embarassed for him if I wasn’t such a believer in sowing and reaping. I laugh – out loud – at him and Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid – as I watch them playing the fools.
You made the bed. Sleep in it. RIP. Good riddance.
If you think that you’re “represented” by someone better, you’ve been duped. (Unless you live in the 14th Congressional District in Texas. I don’t live there and it’s the lone exception that proves the rule.)
Let me give you this challenge:
Call the office of your Congress-critter – Demopublican or Republicrat – and immediately ask whomever answers the phone, “What is the form of our government?”
They’ll hem and haw. When they respond, “Democracy?” just hang up the phone and decide to vote different. Or not at all.
This whole damn thing is a sham and every single dime you’ve ever paid in taxes has been spent on more links for the chains that bind you. It also pays the salaries of people that flat refuse to represent you and then avoid you or mock you when you simply ask them to do the job for which YOU are paying them. You’re not ever “representative,” you see.
You’re simply a “voter.” You need them because they know how to “govern” you.
When they campaign – which is all they really know how to do – they tell you whatever you want to hear.
There’s not a single human being in DC that has the first damn clue about how to lead. If you don’t believe me, just turn on your damn TV and see if you can find a channel that’s not talking about or showing Barry Soetoro. Then see if you can find an example of him showing leadership.
Ever.
On anything.
Once.
Seriously.
Please?
Send me every example you have of him ever leading anything. Good luck. He’s a follower and a useful idiot. He’s chasing his ghost daddy.
I genuinely want to be proven wrong on this. This (literal)bastard grew up without any real parents and he’s a trainwreck. We’ve all known people like Barack. When that lives next door, you deal with an occasional problem or two and find some middle ground. You get used to it and learn how to deal with it. But when 52 MILLION fools just made him the most powerful man on planet earth… that’s a little bit different.
All he knows how to do is campaign. Because he’s shallow. He’s vapid. He’s a used car salesman with a chip on his shoulder and some ambition. He’s seeking approval and nothing is ever enough.
To the first black president, I would ask this question: ”Would you please define the word ‘represent’ and then tell us how and when you’ll start doing it?”
I have to assume, based on his history, his racist comments and all of his actions, that he IS “representing” the way it’s defined in the culture with which he has chosen to identify. But that’s not America and it’s not gonna fly.
Now flood me with your comments about what a racist I am. I dare ya. I never used the word “socialist” once in this entire post. (You do know that’s the new ‘N’ word, right?)
A third of the Senate and all of the House are facing re-election next year. Make your voice heard. Throw ‘em all out. Every damn one (except for the aforementioned 14th District in TX).
I’ve given up on voting entirely but that doesn’t mean you should. Let them hear your voice. Overthrow the government at the ballot box… if you can.
Maybe we won’t have to go ammo boxes.
Gotta love that 14th District in TX! :) Speaking of which, Rand is looking promising!
Rand is indeed looking so.
My rep is a dead lock Democratic re-election. He took over his imbecile liberal douche mother’s seat and the Negro vote is not going to throw out the idiot unless he marries a white woman and joins the KKK.
