Anyways, you should really get a more realistic picture of how business works in the “real world”. Doctors are “just people” as your side keeps saying, and people are selfish in nature because that’s just the way the world works. Its the way of life.

Don’t deny that and say “Oh we’re all a bunch of perfect saints because we save lives”. Well the fact that you have a more important job than someone who does something else, doesn’t mean you should get more credit. You’re both doing it for the same reason, money.

Don’t deny it, money rules everything, and we just have to live with that. In the mean time, we can set up regulations and punishments for people who do inhumane or dangerous things while working for that money.

I’m not saying doctors are “bad people” for doing it for the money. They SHOULD be doing it for the money. Its a business, that’s how life works, life isn’t a charity case. But they should not deny it so much and demand to be treated like gods. And doctors SHOULD be earning more money than other people, because they are SUPPOSED to work harder and get paid more than other professions.

They should also be punished to the fullest extent of the law when they mess up, even if it means a manslaughter charge. As the judge says to any ordinary citizen who runs someone over “by mistake”…

“sucks that it was a mistake. Oh well, here’s your manslaughter charge”.

What can I say, its a tough world. People need to be held accountable at all levels no matter how rough it is out there.

Doctors do what they do because that’s what they chose to do to feed their family, its a business like any other, stop acting like you’re Mother Theresa. Even some firemen (who actually put their OWN lives in danger, so take THAT), are partly in it because the job matched their skills and income requirements.

Doctors work extra hard because they get paid $100,000 a year. If you don’t want to work so hard, then stop complaining and get an easier, lower-paying job.

Until then, we can whine and complain all we want, because we’re the consumers of your business and it should be OUR choice weather or not you get to see another day on the job or weather you’ll just have to be content with being a “normal person” like a janitor or a K-Mart employee.

Corrupt doctors who cause major ****-ups that kill people in the name of “just being human” need to lose their jobs end of story. $100,000 a year is a lot of money, I’d say enough money that if you’re “not perfect”, well its time you started BEING perfect or else find another job.

Its this crappy attitude that “WE save lives (even when they end up killing people)” as if they’re doing us a FAVOR.

No people like Vegas are not saving lives because you “love” your patients, you’re doing it because YOU KNOW YOU WILL BE PAID FOR IT, ITS A BUSINESS RETARD. You’re a doctor and you don’t know yet that its a BUSINESS and not charity work?

And you do realize that “being human” doesn’t mean “I’m allowed to recklessly put lives in danger and murder people by doing the wrong thing and saying “I know what I’m doing”, and then later off I can say “oh what do I know, I’m just human”.

So basically I hear these corrupt doctors switch between “i’m the DOCTOR, you don’t know ANYTHING, you’re so STUPID” to “oh what do I know? I’m ‘just human’”

If someone runs someone over and kills them, the court system doesn’t care if they were having a rough day or if “humans make mistakes”, it doesn’t change the fact that they’re going to get a manslaughter charge.
