Speak up, stupid!

November 25th, 2005

A close personal friend told me recently that my picture wasn’t showing up on my blog anymore. I cursed him and Microsoft and told him he was a fool. “It shows up for me even after I’ve cleared my cache and besides, no one else has complained. It’s just you. ” said I.

Then last night, the lovely Andrea mentioned it as well.

I assume my friends are idiots but when a pretty young thing complains, I spring into action! I investigated and discovered a major flaw. I screwed up the code somewhere along the line and the durn picture was coming from http://localhost…

Now, I’ll take full responsibility for this screw up. It’s not my first. What I want to know is how long it’s been this way and why no one spoke up. I know I’m not pretty and you don’t come here for eye candy. But you could’ve said something.

I’m mad at all of you now.

(Is it working now?)

  1. LOL Yeah, I can see it again. And I do come for the candy.

    Dig the hat…still mad?

  2. I haven’t seen the pic for about 2 weeks? I thought you just decided to change stuff on your blog when the kerfuffle with Angry Troll came up. I see I was mistaken.

  3. I never was mad at you, Andrea. You’re the only one that I can trust now… I think…

If you’re coming here for eye candy… you’re in bad shape.

  4. I read you on the RSS, so I never see the picture anyway. Sorry.

  5. Well, being a bloke, I never come for the ‘eye candy’ (I would be worrying about myself if I was *grin*). I come for the content, so it just never occurred to me. Typical bloke, I guess.

  6. I tought it was a early Chrsitmas gift.

  7. I can’t seem to recall that it was gone. It’s like I just wasn’t being observant.

  8. Well, I never noticed it was gone. I’ll use my blondeness as an excuse. ;) Glad to see you back rolling your eyes under your hat, though.

  9. I, like Heidi, noticed it was gone but thought it was intentional. From now on, I’ll have to start pointing things like that out. =P

  10. Hey, I intended to say something about it several times, but just didn’t. I did kinda wonder if you had done it intentionally. Eventually, I probably would have decided to get nosy about it. I really am not that nosy of a person, though. Forgive me please, brother. :)
    Love and shalom,
