Poker is life. Life is poker.

I’m done with tact

September 28th, 2005

My enemies have none, so why bother? If you’re part of the “Nation of Islam,” I’m talking to you. You have no nation and you never have had one, you silly nigger.

I’m the bad guy, now, right?

Nope. It’s still you. Niggers have hijacked the racial discourse in this country and they’re trying to make “nigger” equivalent to “black” or “African-American” because all of the ones that did it are niggers.

That is an ugly word, isn’t it? It should be a bad word. So let’s keep it that way and apply it selectively.

It’s not a racial epithet. It’s descriptive. It means any whore that will sell out everything they pretend to represent for a comfortable life financed by exploiting those they claim to represent. Generally, it’s because they’re too greedy to know how stupid they are.

Al Sharpton is a nigger.

Jesse Jackson is a nigger.

Kanye West sure seems to be.

Wait. They’re all black so just to prove it’s not a racial thing for me: nearly every Democrat in Congress is a nigger and Hill&Billy Clinton are the King and Queen of the niggers.

And everyone that has ever even associated themselves with the make believe “Nation” of Islam or claims that their last name is “X” is also a nigger. Unless they’ve thought better of it and repented. I’ve done many dumb things and my Daddy has always forgiven me when I’ve repented. So, I’m quick with the forgiveness, too.

So who wants to start with the demonizing or distancing? I double-blog dare ya.

  1. Are you trying to redefine the term? I think you’re going to fail. “Nigger” is an inherently racial term and I doubt you’ll change that.

    Rethink your stance, man.

    Sincerely,

    Bill

  2. When I think of that term, I think of the gangsta rappers in “the hood”, you know? White, black, brown, makes no difference.
Tu-Pac is the same thing as Eminem, you know?
Although, Louis Farakhan. Now there’s a nigger.

  3. I don’t think you are “redefining” the term. It’s more like returning to it’s original definition. About 5 years ago I had a conversatiion with my husband’s grandfather. He grew up in the South and couldn’t understand why calling someone a “nigger” was racial. In it’s original context, it was an equal opportunity insult like fool, lazy, ignorant. Now, if the black community wants to take this slang and apply it to themselves I can shake my head and consider they perhaps don’t understand what they are saying. People use words all the time out of context. My Hispanic neighbor named his daughter “Almighty” because he like the sound of the word.

It takes a weak person to walk around looking for reasons to be offended. And an entire group of people doing that (not racial grouping, societal grouping) are nothing more than a pack of rabid dogs.

  4. Can’t really say much on this without going on a long, long rant, so will content myself with saying that you’ll not be demonized by me. =P

  5. Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, Clarence Thomas, and Ward Connerly are examples of black men that are certainly NOT in that category.

  6. Amen Dif.

  7. Heh. I got into this argument during English in HS. We were reading “Huck Finn” and our class voted to skip over “nigger” when we were reading in class. It just seemed dumb for 2/3 of my class to be afraid of a word. It was asinine. I lost the fight but didn’t care. Go DC go. :)

  8. Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, Clarence Thomas, and Ward Connerly are examples of black men that are certainly NOT in that category.

I agree but I don’t think we need to list black people that are NOT niggers because most of them are not.

The niggers are loud and get all the media coverage. Just like most women are not “feminists” but NOW is on TV more than sane women are. Just like most homosexuals are fine people struggling with a problem but the militant people marching with pink flags are more often seen on TV.

Media selects what sells and creates ratings. Decency will never win in that arena, so we have a tyranny of the minority.

  9. Well, you won’t get demonized from this end, but be careful about when and where you discuss this or you may end up on the wrong end of some fists (or worse).

  10. Thus saith Insert-Name-Here

Distancing myself from you would be superfluous. I don’t even know you.

  11. Stupid haloscan. The anon above was me.

  12. Uhhh…. Jo. Dear. There is no Haloscan here at all. I don’t use it because I agree that it’s stupid.

    Sorry.

    }:-)

  13. Stupid Joelle. LOL

  14. I’m not a huge computer person. To me, if it comes up in a box like Haloscan, it must be Haloscan. :P

  15. “Kanye West sure seems to be.”

I agree. But this is also the same guy who was able to put a song called ‘Jesus Walks’ on radio, and most importantly, in the club. Have you ever seen a club full of young people chant Jesus Walks? It may not influence any of them to consider a personal relationship with Christ, but then again, it may.

“I know He hear me when my feet get weary
Cuz we’re the almost nearly extinct
We rappers is role models, we rap we don’t think
I ain’t here to argue about his facial features
Or here to convert atheists into believers
I’m just trying to say the way school need teachers
The way Kathy Lee needed Regis, that’s the way I need Jesus
So here go my single dawg radio needs this
They say you can rap-about-anything except for Jesus
That means guns, sex, lies, video tapes
But if I talk about God my record won’t get played, Huh?”

Kanye may just be another foolish black man seduced by the lies of guilty white folks, or like most kids growing up, seduced by the schooling system that teaches collectivism in general, but I’d have to say that as Jesus commanded, if one has confessed a belief in him in public, I’d like to think I’d welcome even the lowest of his supporters like a good friend.
