While growing up in the country, all I could think about was getting to the city.  My teenage years were during the 80's and I was obsessed with money and the Yuppie lifestyle.  I wanted a penthouse condo, a private jet, a closet full of thousand dollar suits -- the whole Bud Fox/Wall Street life.

I finally made it to the city in the late 80's and I it didn't take long for me to hate it.  Of course my naive dream of a life of wealth and jetsetting hasn't happened (yet!).  But even if it had, I would still hate city life.  The difference the wealth would make is that I could sell the condo and buy a ranch with some land.  When I do realize that dream of wealth now, the first thing I'll do is buy some land in the country and some horses.
